Well..... It has been a while.
Long story short, my mother lost my camera, I had a nightmarish time trying to get many aspects of my life organised and I hadn't the time nor ability to take any photographs.
Now, that's all change.
In two weeks I am going to Portugal for another two weeks, and for this occasion I have bought a new camera.
Since my last journal, I have gotten a job as a chef, worked a year in an apprenticeship scheme to qualify as a professional, saved a little money ans can now finally afford what I paid for.
Which is, my new Canon Powershot S100.
It arrived today, and I have tinkered with it. Shortly I'l be uploading some shots I took while messing about with Macro mode.
Macro photography has been my go-to test as it's one aspect of photography that really interests me, so testing the metal of this camera has been fun.
It's not a specialised camera, but it is versatile, very compact, surprisingly weighty and decent quality.
I look forward to messing with it more, and bringing back some interesting things from Portugal.
